I’m thrilled to introduce Selah Studio, an online home for creativity, inspiration, and connection. This website represents a dream turned into reality—a space where art, learning, and thoughtfully designed products come together to offer something truly special.

Selah, pronounced SAY-la, is a term found in the Psalms. It is thought to mean "pause and reflect" or "lift up." Just as the Psalms invite moments of stillness, Selah Studio is a place created with the intention to remind people (and myself) to slow down, connect with their creativity, and immerse ourselves in the beauty that surrounds us. For me, the name reflects my own journey - balancing family, passion, and purpose. It symbolizes the intentional moments I carve out to create and teach. Whether through my artwork or teaching classes, Selah Studio is about offering others that same opportunity to pause, breathe, and express themselves. This name is a reminder to embrace both the quite moments of reflection and the bursts of creativity that come with making art. Thank you for sharing in this journey. I pray that along the way we each find our moments of "selah".
